I know a lot of TV shows and movies that portray men and women as both being capable of great good and great evil. I have also noticed that there is a tendency to portray them as perfectly pure with her femeninity "corrupted" or make excuses for them. I know this happens ot male characters, too, but a lot of the times, the interpretation ends up being something along the lines of "daddy/some man/patriarchy made me this way". Which I find ironic, because that excuse doesn't extend to men, because men are not "pure by nature.

You guys think this helps people unconsciously accept the "Women are Wonderful" effect?
