But a world without men would mostly be without roads, electricity, and houses too.

To pretend that men do more harm to women than good, that the world would be, in any way, better for women without men in it, is obviously just misandrist bigotry.

A lot of men aren't violent at all. Woman can't physically dominate men so they resort to other forms of violence such as coercive control or actual physical violence when they know they're protected by law.

The idea if it was only woman they'd be living under rainbows dancing and holding hands is ridiculous. The bigger woman would start dominating the smaller ones and there will be just as much violence if not more. it's the law if nature.

There are at LEAST as many evil, unhinged woman around as there are men.

We could speculate about how much crime would remain if men disappeared, and whether women would eventually occupy the economic niches created by organized crime, including the roles of mafia bosses.

But I'd like to make a different point instead:

Yes, men are more aggressive, yes, men are more violent. So fucking what. I am not those other men. Either we judge groups based on protected characteristics, or we don't. Choose one or the other, but you can't have both. And if you choose to hate people because of their gender, or race, or sexual orientation, you are a fucking bigot, a racist, and a sexist!

Women would need protection from wild animals, disasters, cold, hunger, diseases, other women etc. So no, it's objectively not true that women wouldn't need protection without men.

And men have always protected women from the abovementioned things, often by risking and losing their own lives. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "let's preserve traditional gender roles". What I'm saying is "men do good things too, not only bad things". The amount of good things done by men outweighs the amount of bad things. The number of men who care about women and protect them outweighs the number of men who harm women.

lol I can't remember ever having a personal issue at work that wasn't solved by either avoiding the person or waiting a few days.

Meanwhile every woman I know that worked in mostly female work environments had an existential breakdown through drama or outright bullying every other week. Harming each other seems to be the primary entertainment for them.

A huge part of the perception of violent men is that women outsource their violence needs to men; they don't get their hands dirty themselves.

If the men were gone you'd find out very quickly that men never had a monopoly on violent intent, they just had the privilege of getting others to take all the risk.

I think one of the biggest point that people miss when it comes to this is that, besides the fact that men are protecting women from all kinds of dangers(whether from nature or other women) and the fact that men are protecting women from all of these dangers for free and at their own expense virtually unconditionally, men are also typically causing harm as a result of taking on the majority of life's burden and difficulties.

The reality is that men, because men take on the brunt of life's harsher elements, including taking the brunt of poverty, social expectations, romantic expectations, expectations of provision/protection, this also ends up having a negative effect on men's mental health too, which also creates more harm from men towards women.

If men disappeared tomorrow, and women suddenly had to take on all these roles, and all these burdens, they too would feel the weight of those burdens, and they too would probably start showing signs of struggle which manifest in harm as well.

It's very easy for women to say "men cause all the harm" when they are effectively living in a sheltered life in virtually every aspect of life because men are there to enable that softer life, at their personal expense.

People can understand socio-economic factor when it comes to ethnicity, like when one ethnicity lives in poverty and another does not, or one is living as an under class and the other is not, how this will also result in more crimes being committed by the class living in poverty. And, yet, people are so disconnected from the socio-economic factors and how they relate to men, and how they are effectively living as an under class to women.

It's good to be in this sub. I can rightfully call out that people who always makes it a competition are completely deluded.

Nobody will deny Misoginy that has been a thing for longer. But acting like Misandry is "Ok" because it's "not as bad" is just idiotic. To say nothing that it opens the way for even more radical abuse under the guise of "It's not as bad!".

Good reasoning and layout.

The only reason people don't (usually) do that kind of stuff anymore is because of the modern techno wonderland MEN toiled away to build.

Reminds me of a cartoon where a guy is fighting someone else outside a cave/hut/castle/house as time progresses. Each time period, the woman from inside the domicile asks "Is it safe yet??" and the man fighting says "No!".

Finally, we get to modern times and the guy's able to say "Yes!" to the question. So the woman comes out, hits the guy on the head and yells "WHAT TOOK SO LONG!?!?".

This perfectly encapsulates the feminist attitude here. Men have been working to provide as safe an environment for women as possible for many centuries now and now that it's safer than it ever was, women are shocked - shocked - that violence against them still occurs.

Yeah, no shit. That's what the world is like. These women don't know that the way guys do because women haven't lived a guy's life, haven't had to constantly fend for themselves, or felt the apathy towards our survival or pain on the basis of our gender.

These kinds of feminists live in a world where violence shouldn't ever happen, where men shouldn't "allow" other men to commit violence. A fantasyland, in other words.

I know a woman who was molested by her aunt and abused in many different ways for decades by her mother. She was similarly abused by her father. But 99% of the time she places the blame for the vast majority of the abuse she experienced on her father, despite how incongruous it is with what he was actually responsible for. Which is way too much already, I'm not trying to discount that, it's just that these two women abused her just as much and it's sometimes like they almost get a pass because they're women.

She makes all sorts of excuses for the women who abused her, when she would never think to make excuses for her father. And she shouldn't. None of them should be excused. But I 100% believe that how she relates to these people and her histories with them primarily comes down to their gender.

Here is what I think. Anyone who has any doubts feminism isn't just characterized by tribalistic, animalistic, primitive (im)moral calculus, but is in fact an outgrowth of it, is either an ignorant child or a foolish, dare I say 'simple' adult.

It is coded with the disgusting culture that birthed it, that used it throughout ages under different names for the same goals.

Our culture believes that where there is advantage to be gained and used, people will abuse it gleefully. Our culture rewards any misdeed if one successfully dodges or tanks the consequences to their benefit.

We teach people that they are animals in the forest and not people.

I have been saying it for a while, people like Epstein and Maxwell and their mercy gang of monstrous clients and bosses aren't actually the monsters of this society of ours, but its logical end points. The feature, not a glitch.

Those few thousand people didn't assault tens upon tens of millions of children in every generation. Most abusers aren't rich demons in human form. Most abusers live at the end of the hallway, sleeping in another room and who will shun you, throw you away like garbage if they find out you didn't come out of their loins years ago and teach you that values they beat into your brain don't actually matter, only 'blood' (tribalism) does.

Feminists are on the same page as Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, so-called atheists, incels, tankies, liberals/conservatives and assorted fiiine people when it comes to matters of sex, gender and romance - if you can't make a scam of it, it won't make a cut in legal space.
