Having lived in some of those places I'd recommend Latin America instead. There is no compromise in terms of variety, climate, food, time zone, etc. there are a lot of trade offs to deal with living in Asia.

Being a TRP man in Asia I've burned out of spinning plates to some degree because you fuck enough of these girls and they all look the same. I mean roughly the same height, proportions, clothes. I'd kill for a red headed Irish girl just for something different.

That said if you're a single male and under 30 there is no reason you shouldn't have a million or half million dollars by the time you're 60.

Regardless. Save as much as you can for retirement.

Stay productive for as long as you can. But develop skills and other resources so you get to choose what you work on.

Once you are not longer working. Stay in the USA if you managed to gather enough funds to live comfortable. Otherwise move to a less expensive place. Latin America sounds like a very good option.

My only concern with that would be the language barrier.

I'm almost completely deaf so learning a new language is out of the question for me.

I know English is spoken almost everywhere but with my hearing as bad as it is, deciphering heavily accented English isn't possible.

The cultural barrier would also be difficult to overcome. And I would miss my family.
