Women need attention like flowers need sunlight and water. It’s what they build their self esteem around and how they estimate their value on the dating market.

They are attracted to driven men but simultaneously resent them over a lack of attention. This doesn’t stop the pursuit of these kinds of men as women view men as resources.

But they still hate the lack of attention and the dismissals of validation because it implies that she doesn’t have control of the man as a resource

Can confirm. Long story short gf wants me to settle down (I'm 19 she's 21 at the time of this being posted) she wants to marry into the money because her mom told her to get a guy in the STEM field (or if her mom wants to be a good parent then maybe how about tell your daughter to go into STEM her damn self) I refuse to settle down especially this young when I already have an 8 year contract with the Navy and wanna go back on active duty after I fulfill the requirements to do so.

TLDR: girl power gf and her girl power mom get mad because I have ambitions and am willing to do anything to meet those ambitions

women in my life and for some of them they plain flat out resent the fact that you are dedicated or kind to them.

Women operate on instinct, and instinct is stupid. Instinct is based on what worked in small, hunter gatherer tribes of a few families. At most there would be half a dozen viable mates available. Instinct is obsolete and does not work in modern times.

Women instinctively associate high effort from men as an indication of low status, low achievement, desperation, and low quality. These associations simply do not apply in modern time. Effort is a shit proxy for low status and achievement, but women still go on instinct. In reality, effort is a good proxy for long-term male mating quality as a man performing high effort in one aspect of life most likely does so in others including in his career.

Women resent low-status men and they stupidly use effort as an inverse proxy for status.

However, women either cannot or choose not to override their instinctive behavior. This causes them to make obviously terrible mating decisions. The red pill is the understanding of this and why. Pua is taking advantage of this. Mgtow is leaving the marriage market because of this. Black pill is getting depressed about this.
