Wars may be started by men, but guess who benefits most from it? I would say the women of the winning side. Or, the woman who defect to the winning side, like the French women who fraternized with the winning Germans during WW2 and subsequently got their heads shaved in order to slut shame them once the Germans left. Well, they might have been unfairly targeted, but at least to my knowledge these women didn't end up in front of the firing squad like the men who collaborated with the Vichy government and the Germans.
