This is so fucking wrong. The more a demographic is made up of men, the more willing America is to abuse and forget them (the homeless, the prison population). We in the MRM need to focus more on helping these mostly-male demographics.

While I am not one to be overly soft on criminals, I have thought long about how we can better handle our 'corrections' system. The current system is broken, making hardened criminals out of petty criminals.

It indoctrinates convicts into a social system completely foreign to the one the rest of us live in and many, if not most, cannot re-integrate into the society.

Get used to it. I am deathly afraid that this is the future for most people. You have seen the world you live in grow smaller and smaller. Less and less freedom. If you have had any children, you might have just sentenced them and your grandchildren to life imprisonment. The future is a once-was human. Born and dying in a box.
