Let's be honest - women are crushing men socially, economically, and psychologically today. If we can speak the truth and cut out the B.S., the basic truth is that women have made great strides by organizing and creating groups to help each other. A typical example would be the organization titled Stiletto Woman, which was featured on the NBC Today show. Women want to help other women, because they want to be empowered. And they have been quite successful. Meanwhile, men continue to basically go it alone, relying on a few friends, family, and that's about it. The result is depression, isolation, and bitterness. Men, we just can't afford to buy into the false feminist notion that men's groups are misogynistic any longer. We need to organize for our own survival. It's OK for a man to help another man, be it for professional or fraternal reasons. Let's face it - not all of us belong to a country club or Masons lodge. I hope we can collectively being to support each other and yes, even 'empower' one another. Myself, I am interested in forming an organization that focuses on improving male educational outcomes, providing support for men going through divorces, and providing advice on how to become a better father, husband, and person. Now, if I could just get some traction to get my project off the ground! I really hope there are other men out there that feel the way I do. That would give me hope that our gender can make a comeback. Peace and God Bless.
