So I had this facebook conversation with a girl I know after having had a 3 hour debate over dinner with her. Invited her over along with three guy friends for dinner, she shows up, drinks everybody's booze, literally pours herself wine from other peoples bottles without even asking them, despite not having brought any of her own. She then tells me what I'm doing wrong when I pick up women, and that I should behave in X way if I want to get a girl. In short very self entitled... Thus my terse response.

I know I could have ended it better but I'm fed up with people who refuse to even question feminism in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence. I'm starting to wonder if feminists are capable of rational thought. Note-- this is with a Swede I'm debating.

Me: Regarding what we were talking about the other night.

http://vimeo.com/19707588 Brainwash 1:7 - The Gender Equality Paradox vimeo.com The Nordic Council of Ministers (a regional inter-governmental co-operation consisting of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland) has decided to close down the NIKK Nordic Gender Institute. The NIKK had been the flagship of “Gender Theory”, providing the “scientific” basis for social and educational policies that, from the 1970s onward, had transformed the Nordic countries to become the most “gender sensitive” societies in the world.

The decision was made after the Norwegian State Television had broadcasted a television documentary called “Hjernevask” (the Norwegian word for “brainwash”) in which comedian Harald Eia exposed the hopelessly unscientific character of the NIKK

Her: hm interesting

me: Watch the film it's jaw dropping

her: Hi I watched the documentary about gender last friday a bit tired though, it was interesting, but I have always believed that there are differences, I just don't think that they are as big as our culture wants to give a picture of. And I still belive that it is hard to tell what really goes on in babies head when selecting an object for example, and what that selection really tells about the babies psyche. Some is in the biology but I believe that the things that we are "fed" with since we were kids has i bigger impact...

It seems like being able prove your opinion is correct is more important to you than the truth, and thus you reject scientific evidence which refutes your opinion. This is exactly why I take issue with feminism, it ignores scientific evidence in order to perpetuate its views instead of being concerned with finding the truth. It simply tries to confirm what its theories predict... Just like a religion, and completely opposite to science.
