Honor is a male abstraction. Unclear if it is a good idea or not.

Genggis would behead a enemy man no matter if he were loyal to his country or not, but a woman might be useful as a slave if she didn't make a fuss about the flag or the boss.

Gotta answer this through history.

Men are warriors, women are awards/spoils.

Men have been guards of their caves, farms, tribes, towns and countries along ages. If defeated, their women become war brides and move on with their new life (no links allowed on ASKTRP, please Google the bold text with keywords manosphere and red pill). Their former men are considered failed to protect them so their fertility and other skills are at new guys' service from now on.

Solipsism has always been easier than patriotism. Almost certain to survive so why bother? Winners deserve them in their perspective.

Even today, same thing is observed over immigrants and refugees. Social takeover is a way too.
