It's a commonplace around here that a woman cannot make a man; only a man can make a man.

Of course that means raising a boy to become a man. But the subtlety of the text allows for the other interpretation, simple generation of another human being. (Which a woman still cannot do without a man, even with present technology.)

I notice she doesn't even mention Adam and makes it sound like generating Cain was a private project between her and God. (Which, as a redpiller, shakes me to the core because of how true that observation is about modern women.)

In the larger context, the text doesn't say anything like "And Eve bore Adam a son" - it only says "Eve said, Oh look, I made another man just like God did ... well okay, with God's help, but still..."

So what does Eve have in mind here? Taking credit, inflating the importance of her role in generation?
