You just end it. If I were you, I'd just go radio silent. She deserves no explanation given the cheating, and half the reason she probably did it was just to have the dramatic emotional blow-out once you found out. Don't give her the satisfaction or the validation.

As far as you being stuck on your friend's death. That sucks, but seriously, you have to suck it up. You're using it as an excuse, and many of us here, myself included, have lost immediately family members, and had women we're involved with try to capitalize on our grief. Don't let her use your loss as leverage, it disrespects your friend's memory. You are allowing her to do this. Don't.

This is a hard time in your life, time heals everything, after this is over with you'll come out stronger than you are now. The only thing to do right now is to end it. If you lift, vent with some iron. Occupy your time figuring out ways on how to make money, distract yourself with action. Don't sit on your ass and play video games, go on the Internet for hours on end, or watch TV. I just went through a big breakup a few months ago and did all three, biggest mistake of my life because it's incredibly easy to dwell on it when your mind's in neutral. Kicking your mind into gear keeps the oneitis at bay, before long you might actually start making money if you venture into something profitable.
