I live in America but half my family lives in Argentina. I have lived there on and of for the last 10 years. I met my girlfriend in 2007 and we started dating in 2009. I was 17 and she was 18 and a virgin. She comes from a very conservative family. I took her virginity in January 2009. After dating for 6 months in Argentina in 2009, I was moving back to the US and I told her I wanted to continue long-distance, but I was not going to be celibate waiting for her (it's not like I get a ton of pussy, but still, some is better than none).

I was a big libertarian and had very idealistic ideas about individual freedom, so I stupidly told her she could hook up with other guys too. My reasoning was that I knew I could trust her not to get emotionally involved with anyone else, and sex didn't have to mean anything (I know, stupid as fuck). Still, when I told her this (2009), she started crying and she did not want either of us to sleep with anyone else. I told her there was no way this was happening, and encouraged her to take advantage of this time to explore her sexuality since she was still young (I know, I know). She eventually agreed since she didn't want to lose me.

A year later (fall of 2010), after I had hooked up with a couple of girls that summer, she called me almost in tears saying she had sex with a guy (they used condoms and he didn't cum, but still) and she felt absolutely horrible about it. As I mentioned, she called me the very next day and volunteered the information to me. She genuinely felt bad. My stupid-ass response: "You have nothing to be sorry or feel bad about. Don't be silly."

A year later (fall 2011) she called me again almost in tears. This time, she had made out with the guy and was in a room with him alone, but at the last second decided not to let him hit it. Nothing happened beyond the kissing and the guy removing his shirt. She even confessed to me that she wanted the guy to fuck her, but couldn't go through with it because she "couldn't do that to [me]." I again stupidly told her she had nothing to be worried about, and that she should have had sex with the guy if she wanted.

By the way, throughout all this time, we have always spoken to each other pretty much every single day, we see each other at least a few times a year, and we have an extremely deep connection that I have never had with anyone else, including my own family. I know her family well and respect them, and they respect me. She is not some random girl I stupidly agreed to a long-distance relationship with. We currently continue to speak every day.

Two years later (2013), when I was 21, I discovered "red pill" ideas, and all of a sudden everything made sense. My girl was not just a really good friend who happened to be female and attractive. She was so much more than that. She was my woman who had always been truthful, loyal and feminine. Her hang-ups about hooking up with other guys were not out of prudishness, but out of genuine respect for herself, and genuine caring for me. And I felt (and continue to feel) so god damn guilty. I had a virgin girl who was attractive, and who I had a deep connection with, and I had just seen her as an (extremely close) friend with benefits. Now that I finally understood masculinity and femininity (something that she understood naturally before I stupidly convinced her otherwise), I finally appreciated her for what she was, but at the same time, I was filled with terrible regret for encouraging her to hook up with guys. I could have picked up the phone at any time between 2009 and 2013 and told her "no hookups with guys" and she would have listened. In fact, once I became red pill, I told her that I could only continue the relationship if she stayed away from other men completely. And I was not going to be celibate while I waited for her, either. She immediately agreed and understood.

I am now in the process of completing paperwork for her to move to the US. I am 24 and she is 25. Would have liked to do it years ago but was too broke. I have decided to stay with her because I believe that she genuinely regrets her actions and always has. After all, she only agreed to the "open relationship" because I kept pressing the issue and encouraging her, and whenever she hooked up with a guy, she would call me the next day extremely ashamed of herself. She even turned down that one guy at the last second because she knew it was wrong to do that to me, even though I didn't realize it at the time. I believe we both share responsibility in what happened (her for doing it, and me for encouraging her to do it), and she agrees. I still love her very deeply, and (although this is NOT one of my reasons for staying with her) I think it would be completely unfair to her if I broke it off after 7 years, given the circumstances, and just left her on her own.

However, I still have a few things I need to talk to her about, and will not accept anything less than a perfect attitude from her. I want to know for a fact that when I convinced her to do the open relationship, that she was really convinced that it would work, and that she was not AT ALL secretly thinking "I'll pretend to agree with him about his silly open relationship so that I can satisfy my fantasies without him (me) getting mad." In other words, I want to know for a fact that she was genuinely convinced by my faulty argument and genuinely believed what she was doing to be right, as opposed to her knowing in the back of her mind that it was wrong but choosing to do it anyway. I have no doubt in my mind she will be 100% honest with me. Still though, the whole situation bothers me.

Another thing is that, in order for me to be satisfied, she has to truly regret everything remotely sexual from her past that was not with me. This includes the few guys she made out with before I met her. She was a virgin before me, and never even felt up a guy's dick or had a guy feel her boobs, but she did make out with a few guys, and has never really expressed much regret about this. Her attitude is basically that she was young and didn't know any better, and that in this day and age, she is wayyyy less slutty than other girls, and that I shouldn't be mad if she kissed a few guys before me. However, this is not okay, and I (sadly) will not be able to continue the relationship in good conscience unless this attitude changes.

If there is anyone who is a Christian reading this what are the requirements for someone to truly regret something and repent?

Am I being too harsh? I know it's 2016 and I'm unlikely to even find another virgin, let alone another girl like her, but I refuse to accept even the slightest amount of cuckoldry in my life (and to me, that includes not just if a girl cheats, but also past sexual partners, making out with other guys, etc.). What should I do?
