Hi Everyone
I'm curious about people's real-life experiences.
I've often heard that if a woman earns significantly more than her male partner, it can sometimes create power imbalances, with the higher-earning partner becoming more dominant or less respectful.
I've also noticed that many women I've met say they'd prefer to marry a man who earns more than they do, and that being capable isn't always enough if he isn't financially ahead.
For couples where the woman earned more:
Did it affect respect, attraction, or decision-making?
Did income ever become a source of power or resentment?
If your relationship worked well, what made it work?
If it didn't, was money actually the issue or were there other factors?
I'd like to hear experiences from both men and women, especially long-term relationships.
