Don't go looking for things to worry about. Enjoy your relationship and ease up, there is nothing to stress over right now. If/When you both become serious enough to talk about marriage, let him know your views. You don't know what his preference(s) will be/are and you can't know. There are other things you should be more concerned with like spending philosophies, future plans, and overall lifestyle compatibility.

Thanks – that's definitely true about the bigger worries. Partially, I think I'm falling into the "whoa, suddenly everyone's getting married around me" emotional trap and trying to envision how it will fit into my life...which is to say, I don't think it will easily, and that's making me feel pretty abnormal.

And you're completely right – the more open we are in establishing those other issues of compatibility, the more rationally we can approach the topic of a wedding.
