She's not perfect though, but objectively, in societies eyes and mine, she's closer than anyone else.

Here's the background: At work, there's this girl that's just too hot. Anyone objectively would say she's the epitome of a woman. As feminine as a person can be. She's well respected and everyone loves her. When I'm in a group I try to put myself on the same level as her but it's close to impossible. If anyone teases her everyone instantly knows they're trying to flirt and it becomes awkward. If I question something she's doing, with a level head, every other person in the vicinity (or later on if it's brought up) is just waiting in the wings to be the nice guy and suck up to her, agree with her plan or whatever, so then I look like I'm just being unfair. Being aloof doesn't work because she doesn't NEED any one person's attention, because there are so many other people that give her it.

She's given so much because of her looks, but the thing is she works hard too so she's not completely undeserving either. That's the kicker I think. She's treated unfairly and it drives me crazy but at the same time she has an awesome personality to go along with her looks so it's just impossible to argue against that.

I want to point it out to her, say "a lot of people are nice to you not because you're so beautiful, not because you're right." I never would say that though because I'm just as much of an asshole too. I would break all sorts of social norms too. It would backfire.

I think she's one of the people that break the mold. She accepts things as they are. She told me that she is just not a risk taker. And why should she take any risks. She doesn't need to because things will always be given to her.

She has no real insecurities, but it's not like she's cocky either. She's just really above it all. I don't think I can ever get on her level. I can't get in.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
