Sup redpill. I've been lurking for a while, and i think you guys make a few good points, but i don't completely agree with everything posted here. However, some of the posts made me analyse my recent "relationship" and i came for a few realizations, which might resonate with people like me, not quite swallowing your pill. And probably i'm writing this because i want to vent out and don't know the proper place for it. Anyway, on to the story.

I'm a 19 y.o., average looking dude. A virgin. Which might be so because i used to be a crazy romantic who used to believe in true love and whatsoever when my classmates were already fucking each other. Whatever.

This year was my first year in uni. My best stoner friend moved to california, so i felt friendless and at the beginning of the year I tried to be outgoing and was set to meet new people. And there was this girl who studied with me and took the same bus. She is not really hot, 6 or 7 (though she was constantly hit on by other guys and maybe that's me who's blind). But we had many common interests, liked same music and movies. Soon we became friends.

With time we got closer. We spent time together after uni. Took long walks around the city. Chattered sitting in cafes and bars. A normal friendship.

But at some point it became crazy. She started talking down to me, constantly insulting me and just treating me like shit. I didn't notice it at all, because i was just happy to have a friend.

Almost forgot the most important point. Right in the beginning she told me she had a boyfriend, who is a 7 years older dude, with a well paid job, a flat and all-round a good guy. So I never thought of this as something sexual at first.

The crazy thing is she would do all sorts of girflfriendish stuff to me. Like caress me for hours, constantly touch me, lie on my shoulder. And all this at the same time with treating me like shit. She did anything to me, but touching her was a no no, she has a boyfriend after all. I think from this time i started to want her. Which of course drove me crazy. I wonder, is this the famous friendzone?

So more time passes, we became even closer. She's coming to my flat now, we are jamming on guitars, making steaks together. Until one day we spent the whole day at my home, from morning till night. She did much stupid shit that day. She took things from my hands just to annoy me, made me do things for her, kept treating me like shit. I even had to go to her place so that she could take her notebook.

She spent the night at my place. In the morning we had an exam. And when we had to go she just wouldn't hurry up, which made me mad. I tried to hurry her, but she just didn't listen to me at all.

At this moment i realized how stupid i was. She used me. She had all the perks of a boyfriend from me, without actually giving anything back or caring for me.

I realised that friendships with women are impossible. Because when you think you are really close with them, they just don't think the same and actually use you for anything you can give them.

And i also felt that what annoyed me in her this day was not just her personal trait, but something universal for most women, what i felt in almost every woman i've ever met. They just do as they please, never bothering with your needs. Women are indeed controlling and opportunistic. They'll use you and throw you out.

But i think our goal is not to establish dominance, but just to be men. Be strong men and not bend to women's or anyone's will. Treating them back the same way and trying to establish dominance does not solve anything. It's a women's game. And we should not play it. Our game is to be men, to be strong, confident, and don't let anybody kick us around. Human relationships are that simple, and there is no need to build complex theories around them.

Rereading the whole thing i feel like it's baby's words. But whatever, I've spent too much time writing it and its 5:30 and i have a physics exam tomorrow. So let it stay as it is.
