A bit of info about myself - 25 years old and been GMOW for the past 3 years and am never looking back. Now to the meat and potatos of the story:
My father has been a taxi driver for the past 15 years and he's had passengers run off on him without paying 8 or 9 times over that period ( last example a few days ago). ALL of the "hit and runs" have been young women between 16 and 25 years old. That got me super curious and I asked him to just "poll" his colleagues in a way and ask them how many times it's happened to them and who were the perpetrators. He basically radioed his collegues and asked them how many times have they been robbed and by whom and it was a RESOUNDING majority of the same demographic - young usually teenage women sometimes making drivers drive them around to multiple places and wracking up huge bills only to run off.
This last occurance got me particularly riled up because it was a relatively long (1hr) trip and these girls decided that hey we ain't gotta pay and ran off. My dad got their number from the dispatch office and when the girl answered and figured out it was him she instantly blocked his number. I want to make it perfectly clear that my dad is an extremely polite and nice taxi driver, his car always smells great he's always had great personal hygiene and has dressed well and he's been extremely meticulous at his job so there is no reason whatsoever for someone to do that.
So here I am sitting at my desk and thinking about how yet another entitled POS is going to get away with getting a free ride and in a moment of anger I decided that I will not let this go. I got her number from my dad I called her and pretended to be a police officer (without actually saying I was) and just informed her that she'd be getting a formal letter to appear to the nearest police station in the next 72 hrs ( that's how the system works in my country). When she heard me utter those words she started shitting her pants and making excuses about how it was her friends that "used her phone" to call a taxi and it wasn't her to which I replied that because her number was used she'll have to appear infront of the police and give testimony. She was terrified and promised to meet my father and give the money back to him on Sunday. Now we wait. I'll update this thread with the result but by the sound of her voice I'm positive that fear will push her to go the man she pretty much robbed and look him in the eye while giving him the money he has earned.
And that is the issue in the end - they have no morals. Only fear and threats can get them to do the right thing. The honorable thing. You think it's an accident that young women do this in the overwhelming majority of cases? I personally find that hard to believe. GYOW gentlemen and don't look back.
UPDATE: SHE PAID! She was looking at the ground the entire time out of pure shame when my dad met her. There is some justice after all.
