So the gist of this is that you build a mental image of someone as partially mentally disabled (not completely because then it feels wrong) and because of that your whole approach changes.

Imagine that your close friend or boss told you to handle a mentally disabled woman for a day and that your job is to make the whole thing nice for both of you. When you meet her and spend time with her, you genuinely want to have a good time because in some way you feel bad for that person too, you have an upper hand in that regard.
