I used to run 15-30km/week and after each (5-10km) run I'd get sleepy. Especially during the meal after, it was like an uncontrollable nap. Lifting does similar. Has anyone here had any experience with this? Online most people just say "if you need to sleep then sleep" and I get plenty of sleep averaging about 9 hours without the naps.

The reason I ask is because I find lifting / exercise foundational to health and for my mission, yet I can't really be napping because I only have 1-2 hours free a day (which I would like to reserve for cooking and lifting). The rest of my time is crucially spent commuting, working and studying. I'm not burnt out because I had this problem even when exercising as an unemployed loser with an abundance of free time.

Cheers.
