You need to plan your exit.

You have already made up your mind to leave, now you just need plan your secret op and execute it. Figure out when your current lease is up and find another place to live and sign the paperwork. You may have to overlap a month or two on rent, but it will be money well spent.

Once you have the key to the new place, move all of your belongings out of her place and into the new one, while she’s at work or something. If you can’t move everything, move your valuables, since it’s highly likely she’ll trash your shit. Leave her only low value stuff to fuck up.

When she comes home from work, tell her you’re breaking up and moving out. No need to tell her where you’re living.... she’ll just show up and cause drama or some situation where the cops are involved. You don’t need this. Rip the band-aid off and do it efficiently, as kindly as possible, wish her well and get out. Shut your phone off for the rest of the day, at least, and after that don’t respond to her calls or texts. Go dark on social media for a month or so, or better yet, disable your accounts. Even if you block her, she’ll find a way to look at your profile. Better if there’s no new material. You could probably use some monk mode anyway.

If she threatens self harm, call the police and send them to her house. You don’t need to be involved in that. If she was just threatening self harm and you send the cops, she’ll learn that manipulating you that way won’t work. If she really intends to do it, professionals who are trained to handle these situations will be on hand to help her.

All in all, the key to a good op is precise planning and secrecy. You can do this.
