I’ve been dating and living with my current girlfriend for 15 months. I’We started out as coworkers and both cheated on our previous partners to be with each other. I was 25, now 26. And she was 18, now 20. We moved in together right away and she became pregnant shortly after. Our son is now 5 months old and she stays at home (receiving EI for now) and I work full time. I noticed the obvious red flags at the beginning of the relationship but dismissed them because I have my own flaws (criminal record and previous substance abuse history, my shit is together now, though). The red flags were major daddy issues. Father left at a young age; raised by a mother who suffers from mental illness she allegedly got from the military. She was homeschooled and indoctrinated into being a young earth creationist by her mother. Whored it up the 6 months she was in bible college before dropping out (blames it on bullying, after prodding I find out they were bullying her about sleeping with everyone). N count is relatively low but high for that amount of time.

Another reason I ignored these flaws was because of the loyalty and honesty she gave me at the beginning of the relationship.

We had a lot of pointless arguments in the spring while she was about to give birth/ the following couple of months after the baby was born. I remember reassuring her that stress was expected and we’d get over it. One night I happen to notice a notification for “seeking arrangements” on her phone. I dug into her phone the following morning to see she made an account looking for a sugar daddy. A few days later I confronted her about it and she told me it was because she gave up on the relationship and didn’t think things were going to change. I told myself it was because I lost frame and because of how young she was. But I believed she’d be a great wife once she matured.

A few weeks ago, she told me while drunk, that she thinks about her first love ( when she was in grade 9) almost daily. And constant wonders what things would be like if they stayed together. Back then, her psychotic mother pulled her out of school for having a boyfriend and homeschooled her until Christian College. This really upset me but I didn’t let it show. Solely because she never expressed it to me until that moment. I understand females can get attached to their first love. Me working 12-14j hours a day and her being home with the baby only fuelled the thoughts of her first love.

Last night we went out for her birthday. She was loaded drunk by the time we got home. She ended up passing out on the couch, so I went through her phone to check up on if she’s been in contact with this guy. She said she hasn’t had contact with him in years and I don’t see any evidence to say she’s lying. But I did see a text message from the Holla app. It’s basically a video chat app on your phone. I came across a friends list full of guys and activity ranging from earlier today, last week and a couple times last month. I started messaging the guys on her friends list playing dumb and asking what they were talking about. A few of them were following her on Snapchat and IG as a well. One said “I showed my boobs last night but had to go because the baby was crying”. Another one said something similar about showing her tits. To make things worse - she has an extensive amount of her nudes saved on her Snapchat from 1-2years prior to our relationship. And has told me she sold them on an Xbox game for items back before we were together. So it’s not hard to believe she was sending nudes while in this relationship.

I haven’t confronted her about this yet. I have lost a lot of trust for her the past few months and my gut is telling me to break up with her. The problem is we have a 5 month old boy and I am clueless what the next step is. I love this girl and want the best for my son, but I don’t trust her
