Your post resonates with me a lot. I know that feeling. Like you I had to move from my home country but to come to the US. I moved in sophomore year of high school. I had nothing in common with the people I went to school with and knew I just didn't fit in for many reasons. People tried to reach out but i didn't trust anyone at all so i pushed them away. You're lucky you had friends to "break you in" though. Ive been riding pretty much solo ever since. Ditched the fake friends and the snakes. You're not alone.
