Simple. Don't approach while she is with family.

You can still tease her from the distance with a smirk or something of the sort. Approach a girl with a single family member is next level for you at the moment.

If you were good at approaching I'd say just entertain both her and the mother and overall just give a good impression to make it easier for your next approach WITHOUT the mother.
