I have orbited TRP for several months now, steadily implementing bits and pieces of the information/advice from the sidebar into my persona. I recently decided to "fully swallow" TRP as some would say.

I usually find myself in complete agreement with the opinions that the majority of the users who frequent TRP tend to have. However, I can't wrap my head around why it is that every time a story/anecdote that includes a woman acting irrationally i.e. breaking furniture, raping a man, causing a scene in public, etc., someone in the comment section feels the need to point out that if the woman in the story was replaced with a man there would be a "witch hunt".

Don't get me wrong, I agree that society would deem it a much worse ordeal had it been a man doing _, or acting like _, and that this special treatment women often receive isn't fair. However, a large portion of TRP theory is based off the idea that women act based off of emotion rather than rational thinking. When you complain that a man would be treated differently in any given situation, you are essentially complaining that you are held to a higher standard than a woman.

Do you really want so little to be expected of you? You wish society wouldn't hold you more accountable of your actions than a creature who's decisions are based off what she "feels like" rather than her brain? A creature who can be so easily manipulated by the theory embodied by a society you claim to embody yourself? I can think of no greater display of weakness. If someone were to say this in a conversation I would immediately think less of them. No shit people would view the situation differently, you're a man. Act like it.

Another large portion of red pill theory is based off of the idea that the "ugly truths" of society need to be looked in the face and accepted. This ugly truth should be treated no differently. Although equality is ideal, it is also highly impractical. If anything, the fact that you would receive more repercussions for acting like the woman in any of the given types of stories mentioned above should be taken as a compliment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I see it is that the unfairness between treatment of men and women in aforementioned situations is at least partially in line with TRP thinking.
