I've recently gotten into the habit of casually inviting girls (whom I've already talked to and flirted with) out for a sushi dinner via texting. They would obviously agree to meetup because they're probably thinking it's either a great dinner date idea or they're getting free sushi. In any case, the whole bait & switch comes into play when much closer to the scheduled day, I would make up an excuse to cancel sushi and just switch to drinks instead.

The reasoning and purpose behind the bait and switch is to reduce flakiness from her end as well as figuring out whether her sexual attraction to me is genuine or not. If, after the bait and switch, she decides to flake, then I would know she wasn't truly sexually attracted enough to still follow through.

  1. Is this a good plan of action?

  2. I'm concerned with giving off a provider impression via sushi dinner. Would it be better to be more straightforward with just drinks?
