I've noticed with women who bring up former FWBs tend to say they were not looking for a relationship with those guys. They are pretty blunt and adamant about it from what I've noticed. Do you think women go for a FWB with men who are not part of the same tribe as the men they go for LTRs?

I'm a clean cut, professional type and get the sense that women aren't looking for a casual arrangement with someone from the suit and tie tribe so to speak. I'm hitting tinder for the first time in over 2 years as soon as the weather gets better and I can get professional quality photos done outdoors. Hopefully in a couple weeks. I'm thinking of trying to go for a more laid back image.

I'm overthinking this and it's just because in my last LTR she was still in touch with an old FWB as friends who was more of an edgy, into alt/comic books, had tats/piercings but for relationships she always went for professionals. He looks like shit now and she claimed no more attraction.

And yes, when she revealed their past after volunteering lies on multiple occasions I broke up with her. That and she had physical issues with sex and was a prude. It took me 5 months or so to man up and kick her to the curb. Still bothers and disgusts me to this day that I can't move on still. Time has improved things. It was just a 10 month relationship. I got severe oneitis and put her on a massive pedestal before I found out she rode the CC hard.

So do I need to give off a different vibe? I'm relatively attractive, very successful professionally and have travelled alot/am adventurous (bungee jumping tough mudder etc). I have some adventure pics but it's apparent I'm not really the bad boy type or someone who paints outside the lines.
