having a lot of friends on social media can definitely help you advertise your SMV, but by itself it's not going to drastically increase your SMV. i know a lot of dorky blue pill beta type guys who have thousands of facebook friends because they send friend requests to every single person they've ever met but it doesn't help them get laid because they have low smv.

this guy you're talking about would have high smv even if he never used facebook. that's why he gets a lot of likes when he posts stuff.

Don't mistake correlation for causation.

No, FB did not create attraction it just nurtured it after it had already been formed.

Social media presence is the result of many factors, but more importantly to rely on it to validate your progress is a losing strategy.

Keep working on you, and if you want to do what I did- delete FB/IG/Twitter/etc. It takes about a two weeks but you will cease to care about things like this, as your energies can't as easily be spent on worrying about other people.

Do you really think you need a good soicla media image to get laid? I hardly ever even give out my social media page and still do well with women.

Maybe if you're in HS or college (which you sound like you are) then sure it helps. But in the real world, you don't really need it.
