There have been numerous times ive gone solo to bars and clubs and had the easiest time pulling women...when you go out solo, dont go with the intensions of getting laid...go with the intensions of having a blast. Either way you will have a great time! Huge tip, confidence is key!

This op. I go out solo alot and I just look to have a good time.
One time I was out with my brother at an Ohio state University game. My brother took his girlfriend to the game and just left me to walk around.
I was by myself on this huge ass campus with people everywhere. You won't believe how many people offered to give me free beers and invite me to their tailgate parties. Just by walking around.
I'm sure you'll have a similar experience on new years in freaking new York. Every bar is going to be packed.
Everyone is going to be looking to have a good time. No one is going to question why you out alone and if they do, I'm sure they give you a beer to drink with them.
I'm going out by myself for new years and I live in Cleveland. I do have friends, but most of them are married and doing a small house party. So I'm going to go to the house party first then leave for downtown solo because I'm not staying around a bunch of married people for new years when I can have the potential to meet new people going out solo.
