Lost my job/applying for new jobs.. No drivers license

Just apply. In the meantime, get a damn ID. They're usually under $20 or even free. For most jobs (at least the ones where you're not picked up infront of a Home Depot every day) you're gonna need a valid ID. Get your license once you're eligible again.

I don't get it, how is your drivers license relevant to job search? Unless you need it during work, just take public transport/bike like millions of other people?

Get your driver's license first. I think most employers will wonder why you don't have that. Just my opinion.

Keep applying at jobs. Look into learning a trade. A lot of places will hire you, even if you have a criminal past.

Most places now a days ask if you have had any DUI's, misdemeanors, etc. From a personal perspective definitely keep looking for jobs before you even get your license back, why? I live in CA and got a DUI when I was 20 about two years ago, I got butt fucked by fines, DUI class, etc. Save up as much money as possible to make sure everything involving money with the courts is 100% current. Also, sorry for poor formatting I am typing with a cast on my hand.
