Maybe I'm not digging as deep as you are on this topic; but I've always used work and progress to support my confidence, and confidence to support my ego.
If I find myself feeling down or bad about something in my life, I think about any recent progress I've had. Every single time I can recall, I could attribute my lack of confidence to inaction. I stopped making progress.
The immediate and long-term fix has always been to buckle down and work for myself.

I started writing stuff down so I could review my accomplishments for the last few months. It really helps to have a record of your progress to review when you hit a low

Nah many women love confidence and even occasional arrogance, so long as you have accomplishments to back it up and use your confidence in a humorous way. Just be humble every now and then, but stay true to your confident personality, imo!
