Stop trying to find ways to impress her, just by how you wrote this post it is obvious that you are always thinking you must somehow prove you are worthy. "...so we can chat when she isn't busy" with this kind of wording, you are simply portraying that you are basically less important than normal stuff in her life, Which is exactly what you shouldn't do. Understand that to change this kind of behaviour, you must start to think positively, working on your self esteem. Whenever you have some interaction, reflect on how you felt during it and why, and fix it.
