This is the core of Critical Theory. Feminism is trying to be a point-and-yell guy for issues that are actually ingrained into us biologically.

She is perfectly willing to passive-aggressively hurl insults (which seem less insulting, because she self-deprecated, right?), in an attempt to illicit an emotional response. Her statement about how we are all sexist is framed in a blame-game way, which is immediately qualified (the passive aggressive bit) by how she is too, and everyone else.

Feminism is doing all it ever has to do. It wasn't created to bring balance or equality. It doesn't continue by raising women up. It only criticizes.

It is useless to try and win arguments with these people. They rigged the game. Seems like there are two ways you can 'win':

A) War Games: The way to win is not to play.

B) Star Trek:TNG; S2E21 - Peak Performance, where the way to win is by changing the goal.

By refusing to play, you are not supplying emotion, thus not validating her behavior. By shifting the goal you are amplifying and shaping emotional response.

Stopped reading when he said he argues/ debates with his GF. Arguing with a women is the same as arguing with a child, nothing changes and you only look dumber for doing so.

This is a great demonstration about the state of social justice warriors. This guy's girlfriend is directing her self-righteous anger at him. Because he doesn't tow the line and agree with every single viewpoint of the feminist extreme, he's now the target who needs to be changed. He's considered the problem and she's not afraid to let him know.

If a woman can treat her boyfriend this way, and all of the feminists at /r/askwomenadvice support this, how do you think they treat other non-minorities? Anyone in their vicinity, even people trying to help and be allies, are targets whom they can lash-out against. They do not want a devil's advocate arguing the other point. They don't want rational discussion. They just want an emotional cheerleader who will remain silent even if he knows they are in the wrong. God forbid someone shed light on their delusion.

Once again we are shown that feminist claims rely heavily and almost exclusively upon postmodern rationale and solipsism. For an example, A. [You cannot know]... because B.[You have not experienced] you are not a woman, you are not a minority, you are not underprivileged, etc. This approach is effective because it asserts that only the one who has experienced can know the truth, thus anything you say (the person who has not experienced) is automatically void. But here is a question for you, do i need to hop in front of a train to know I wouldn't like it? "you can't see the privilege that being a white man has on you is because because society has designed it that way" Of course Op is gonna have a problem with his gf saying this it's fucking obnoxious and smug. I love how most of the commenters fail to hold his girlfriend chiefly accountable for repeatedly giving unsolicited advice and instead tell OP how he can change for her poor behavior.

I've actually been in a very similar position to the OP from the RedditLog. Girlfriend's a feminist and strongly believes that men cannot fully understand the experiences of women, and vice versa.

I'd like to kick the asses of the people who are suggesting "arguing with women is pointless", but really, it sometimes is best to agree to disagree, especially if you can respect each other's differing opinions and the experiences that have brought them to believe what they do.
