You could not ask for a better chance to practice. It's girls you don't care about about so up that A&A skill, when a girl you actually like comes around you'll be more comfortable.

I have a few female friends. I validate the shit out of them, mock flirt with them (in public, never in private!), they get me invited to parties and serve as social proof.

As long as you're not lying to yourself and are indeed not interested in them, I don't see what the problem is.

Let me repeat that. If you have the slightest romantic/sexual interest in them and it's not returned, you're a loser. If you're not interested and they return the social validation you provide them, you're a winner.

If your sure they are not interested in you. Then they see you as one of them. Women have boyfriends and girlfriends, if your not her boyfriend then your her girlfriend. And do remember, women and men cannot just be friends, one will always want the other. Now its up to you to choose where to stand, if you accept your role as her girlfriend then do what girlfriends do. Or just remove yourself from the equation
