This isn't the place for the constant pity party posts. You will never make friends like this. Join clubs and shit. Go to bars. Work on your looks. I was on anti depressants before. They make your life seem alright when its really just shitty. When you wake up later it could be worse and you could blow your brains out. Don't find ways to make your life okay the way it is. Find ways to improve it. Get a part time job in the real world make friends there.

Can you do your work from a laptop? Go sit at a coffee place and get some work done.

Pick up some hobbies that get you out the house and stick with them for a few months. Billiards is a good one where people can approach you for a game or 2. Rock climbing, museums, field soccer, walking around town just to find new places are all great ways to meet new people.

Older than you, making friends is easy. Find a hobby that gets you in semi social contact with other people. Then just like... hang out and shit. It's not hard. But you gotta get out there and be doing something.
