This is quite simple, I tried asking a guy at work and in the middle of my ask I realized he was beta as fuck and couldn't answer. My asking was impulsive and I didn't realize who I was asking,but I digress.

I work as a Sales Specialist at a retail store, I'll be helping a customer and I can tell she's into me. She's flirting, blushing, twirling her hair, unable to stand still, and tries to mimic my stances. Also, if I flirt with her, she responds positively. The chemistry is there. The only thing is, and I didn't do it, is asking for her number bad; or no?

What is professional, or the right thing to do in order to put myself in the best light possible? I've been trying to logically figure this out for a few hours and I cannot think of a good reason.

This has happened before, and this second time is resulting in a reach out. I like to make myself look good, and I can't figure out whether this does that or no.

TLDR - Is it bad to get a girls number while at work, or no? Not sure as to the right or wrong.
