Hi, so yesterday my friend and I went to a bar (im in college) so there was a long line (10-15 min wait). In the middle of the line, some two girls come up to us and 1 girl asks "Can we be a part of your clique and get in with you guys?". My friend says "sure" but I immediately after say "to be a part of our clique it cost $5 dollars per person". Instantly that girl, that asked the question, turned into 100% bitch mode and was like "Im paying 5 dollars to get in to this club and not paying 5 dollars to be in your clique". To this, my smile goes away and I turn around not responding at all to her comment. After this, both of us dont talk to the girls and we keep on trying to get in the bar as fast as we can. After 5 min, i forget about those girls and we as near the entrance. During the entire waiting period people keep pushing against us but at the entrance I get a real good push and I exclaim "What the fuck" as I am turning around. I look behind and then lower my look at the person behind me and it turns out it is Ms. Bitch from earlier. She sees this and is like "was that comment directed to me!?" in the most bitchiest voice I had ever heard and I wasnt going to have it. I completely turned around and I was like "Yeah it fucking was, bitch" (mostly I said this because her bitchness annoyed me so much) and she starts going off on how she cant help that people are pushing her from the back (still in the 100% bitch-mode, unfazed by my comment). Before she could even end her sentence, my friend comes up and says "Oh my friend here is sorry for what he said, he didnt mean it. Im sorry". In my head, I was appalled at what my friend just said; just letting that girl walk all over us. And that ended the entire ordeal.

Now, how do you guys think I handled this? Both of us were not interested in these girls (they were 5/10 at best), so maybe it would have been better if I hadnt said anything to these girls? What should I have done differently? Also did my friend handle these interactions better than i did?
