Just approach them. Or send them a text that says "I'm too scared to talk to you in person so I got your number from a Facebook post. Maybe we could talk like this for a while until I get the nerve to talk to you in person. You're not an axe murderer are you?"

Edit: that last bit was sarcasm. Just meet them.

This is creepy don't do it. Instead you can start a study group and of a subset of the people on the Facebook group and invite the hot ones. Don't call them though, invite them through Facebook. Now you have social proof as the leader of the study group and you can pick and choose who you want in it. Make sure to add a few betas and some ugly chicks as well so its not obvious what you are doing.
