I live in Vancouver and I have a problem meeting women.

More specifically, I live about 25-30min drive from Vancouver's downtown, in a nice, central suburb. Own my own place, got my shit together, etc. etc.. I absolutely despise the night scene and everything to do with it (from the music, the bros, skanks and gangsta-wannabes, to the over-priced and watered-down drinks, to having to cab there and back), yet the only place where I actually see women is downtown.

I work from home, which has a lot of benefits, but obviously doesn't help getting "out there." I'm out in the local parks, neighbourhood coffee shops, etc. at least twice per day (walking the dog), and I'm lucky if I see one or two women in my age group (late 20's) per day. Short of running across a street of traffic, I actually cross paths with (maybe) a fifth of those women, and maybe a fifth of the ones I do are actually attractive, and of course only a fraction of those are single. Further, my game is shit (although I've previously had a lot of success with the "fake it 'till you make it" method), so despite wanting to practice on every woman I meet, there simply aren't enough of them.

I've got several groups of friends, but all are made up almost exclusively of couples in various states of broken LTRs, and pretty much all they ever want to do is pub/house party nights, so meeting women through most friends is a moot point.

Outside of this, I'm at the gym two or three times per week, and go hiking or doing other outdoor activities every weekend. Again, I run into very few people.

I've tried online dating over the last few years, had a decent number of one nighters, four-five short term GFs/flings off of there, and ended up dumping every single one after six to eight weeks. Generally a waste of time.

So on to the question: short of going out solo to the downtown night scene, where the fuck am I not looking?
