Been here and on TRP blogs for a while now (new account because the other one is business). Bless anyone who's willing to read all this, I tried to condense it as much as I could. I should preface that I'm not your typical TRP convert in that I'm not slugging for home base and my own personal harem, I'm looking for a wife to pour into, and doing it the abstinent route (commitment is just fine with me with the right person). So if you're still in Angry Phase instead of looking forward to the joys that can be cultivated in a Red Pill marriage, save yourself the read.

TL;DR I messed up with a real life Pegasus (because we all know Unicorns don't exist—she's not a goddess or out of my league but she's just what I want) and I want to get her back with her in the the way that will devalue my SMV as little as possible (or you know, success—regardless). She's not disgusted with me, but I am in the friend zone. The context is probably necessary:

So I meet this girl online, she's just moved to the big city not too far from me. I get a decent amount of attention online from women with an (I'd say) above average SMV. I've kept the interest of a Hollywood starlet and a pageant winner before this. She's a recently ex-college athlete, 6'3", 23yo, I'm much taller than that, 27yo. This girl was over the moon to be talking to me. Really tall girls have slim pickings so I have that going for me. We talk a lot (email), I easily get a date out of her for the next time I'm in the city, numbers exchanged, all that. She squees about being able to wear high heels on the date and messages me playfully to let me know how excited she is.

An opportunity arises, a lot of my local friends are going to see her favorite band in concert on the beach. It's day's drive, stay at a friend's for the night, concert next day, drive back ordeal. The framework for the whole thing was super safe, think of it like a church youth group trip. She's very excited to go—then, she tells me she can't go. Turns out she called her brother who (of course) believes I'm going to rape and bury her corpse in the desert. On my end, she was obviously caught between two choices. I told her to show her cards and she admitted to the conversation with her brother that caused her to second guess everything. We have our first phone call where I find she's got all the information issues sorted out (it's safe, my friends are safe, she'll have the spare key, there will be another girl in the car) etc but obviously still caught up in the emotional spectrum. I have her call one of the girls who'll be on the trip, actually the one who's house we'd be staying at overnight. They have some girl talk, she calls me back, she's decided she's going. Long phone call extends late into the night, I can make her laugh easily and it's obvious she's still very interested in me even though I had to push to get her to come (there was never an issue before her brother interjected). Both of us agree that we just wish the concert wasn't so soon so things wouldn't be so sudden (the trip is the day after our first date)

So the date rolls around at a nice restaurant and she's like putty in my hands. I can make her laugh as I please, she's really in to the many exciting things I do for work, she doesn't (and hadn't before on email) mind talking about deep stuff. I may have let the date go on a little too long because we started running out of first-datey things to talk about but 3 hours down we hug our goodbyes, looking forward to 7 hours in the car together the next day. I have no indication at this point that I did anything to lower my SMV throughout the date. Departure day comes, I get a call ONE HOUR before leaving, saying she can't go. After some pressing from she admits she just won't go. Lots of feels. She doesn't want to upset me and wants to go to the concert but something somewhere is holding her back, turns out the invisible nest of her parents 2000 miles away still has some strong protective influence (she's the youngest and the only girl in the family). I get her to say she'll come, but she's obviously distraught. I get another call 15 minutes before we leave, she's not coming. I can hear fresh tears on the other end of the phone put I still push for her to come as the only way her and I won't be disappointed. She stays a no this time.

I go on the trip with my friends and make sure to email her saying I'm not angry at her before bedtime. I get no response until a full 24 hours later (previously she'd exchange multiple emails in the middle of the day) saying she's OK. After a few more email exchanges over the days, she says she's forgiven me but she doesn't want to talk on the phone (last memories on the phone not so good), she doesn't want to meet in real life unless it's just as friends… aka I get friend zoned. She's so new to online dating and this new city she's just moved to, so I tell her she needs some time to settle in to her new world, but that I'm not going to be a pen pal, because without the phone or meetups that's exactly what we'd be, writing letters about the weather when a week ago she was telling me she really wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and really opening up.

So, If she was just some girl, she'd get next'ed. But—she's not. I can deal with her ambivalence in the context of a more established relationship where I can captain up a bit. Right now there's two things I see pulling against me here: A. I dropped some capital-C control freak red flags for how hard I pushed her to come on the trip, and now I'm sure her entire family and roommate are on 'her side' ready to flip out and say I'm not worth it when I make a move to get her back. B. "crawling back" is of course a beta thing to do, but I'll have to resume some sort of contact somehow, do I need to think about how is the most alpha way to do that.

I was thinking about introducing myself to her for a second time, give it a new-beginnings, let's-not-worry-about-the-past vibe. Reminding her about the good things "I loved making you laugh". I can pack in a dozen dates in-between here and when I resume contact to enact a little dread if need be. I definitely want to use my one ally in this (time) to my advantage. 3 months from now she'll feel more settled in, maybe resumed dating and finding out the other guys on the menu don't compare, realizing she had something good going with me and regretting jumping ship. At least, I am pretty confident that will be the case—the tall thing is very much on my side and limits her potential candidates to the upper 1% of all men plus everything meshed so well between us before her vacillation and my pushing too hard.

Feel free to comment on any mistakes I made but I'm trying to focus on the future. I've heard of a lot more hopeless situations winding up back together again.
