I don't know how this has happened, but I have gone beta in this relationship in some respects. I have been too available, too responsive, and have opened too much (the last one, I have manged to salvage - the first two are pretty apparent).

What steps must I take to obtain a true alpha stance in this relationship?

I will note though, I am seeking a LTR (although, that doesn't have to be with my current girlfriend. I will do what needs to be done, though staying with her would be my first preference). I acknowledge this will prevent me from ever being able to truly partake of TRP. However, I value this community's input much more than any other crap out there.
