Monk mode has several characteristics, but is principally defined by withdrawing from women for a period of weeks or months to focus on personal development without the distractions and expenses that dating incurs. It differs from MGTOW in that it is not intended to be permanent.

It's removing vices from your life and focusing on yourself.

It doesn't mean you stop talking to women. It means you stop playing video games, watching porn, smoking, etc. and fill up that time with lifting, reading, meditating and building up a social circle.

After a few weeks you will become enlightened and 'monk mode' will turn into your everyday routine.

One tip. You have a limited supply of willpower. Going full-on 'monk mode' by the above definition all at once will set you up for failure. Eliminate one vice at a time for greater success.

there are many versions of monk mode. but it is essentially just eliminating certain things in your life to help yourself grow.
