So i work at a bar and we've just hired some new employees. Most of them are older but there is one cute new 21 year old thats joined. Lets call her Jane. Now i know what people say about dating or fucking girls from work, but im leaving in a couple of weeks to focus on study. First time i walk by her i see her eyes follow me as im working around and give it 5 mins or so and go and introduce myself. I dont make a big thing of it, just being friendly.

After a shift or so, we are talking slowly.. im asking her questions about herself. Shes asking me questions too, she said she was talking to another staff member who said i was vegan (im not) and she wanted to know if i was. This led to her telling me she was. I told her i used to be vegetarian and knew a few vegan places that i could show her. So we agreed to grab lunch the next day. I asked for her number that day etc, so we happily exchanged numbers.

Now, i find this girl pretty hot etc and want to get in there but im not desperate by any means and have other girls on the go. We go out for lunch and its all easy and chilled. Just talk etc. I ask her a lot of questions, let her do alot of the talking. No big deal. Afterwards she says it was nice hanging out etc. I said ill catch you later. Not thinking too much of it.

A couple weeks go by and i just cant be too assed trying too hard with her. Literally i just rock up at work and we just chat a bit. I act interested etc, but totally calm and like i dont really care all that much. I keep focused on my job. Anyways, this goes on for a while and after a few shifts she asks what im doing in my break. I just say ill head home and cook some food etc, and she says shes going out for sushi. I couldve sworn she wanted me to ask if i could join or ask her out for lunch instead. I dont do a thing. After our break she asks what im doing after work. I just say "relaxing" then she sorta pokes fun at me for that and says "We should grab a drink". So i smile and nod "Yeah, for sure." So we have drinks after work etc. All goes well. Not long after another guy that works there comes and joins us and sorta cock blocks me. I also get a call from another girl plate at the time wanting to hang out. I answered and just said ill talk to her later. No big deal. Im not sure if Jane thought much of it. Anyways, we decide to head home as we both had work the next day. As soon as i get home i get a message from her saying "we should definitely hang out more". I text her a bit and eventually tell her she should come to my place the next night after work and have a few drinks.

So this happens, she gets to my place the following night.. pretty much gets changed right in front of me. We watch a couple of horror films while drinking a couple of bottles of wine. During the film shes getting closer to me, putting her head on my shoulder etc. After a while i suggest we watch a movie in bed as i was getting tired. So we go to bed.. as im setting the tv up she just fucking like picks up a note from another girl on my desk and starts reading it. The note was from another girl saying that she was glad i brought her out to the cinema one time and that we should do it more etc. She asked about the film i saw and just casually said it was good etc. Nothing about what the girl had wrote otherwise. Im not sure if shes tired or a bit drunk but her mood shifts a bit. After a while i just grab her and her face turns to mine so we start making out. She tooks some clothes off etc and seemed comfortable. I try to get into her pants but she stammers and says "no, uh.. sorry" sorta sheepishly etc. Not sure what to make of it, and i think it mightve even been that time of the month etc so who knows.. Anyways,we make out for a while. Talk a bit and laugh. She gets up early the next day to see her family for some event, she hugs me and leaves.

Since then we've texted a bit but i get the feelings its a bit odd. I mean, we hadnt texted much before all this either so its hard to tell. I dont know if its possible from what ive written but id be keen to know how you guys would proceed with this? Should i even try? Is she turned off by the note she found? Was she trying to avoid sex? She does keep talking to me in texts though, but its always sorta bare minimum. What should i do? Cheers guys.
