Each weekend I go to my girlfriends house. They normally drink a bottle of wine and clink their glasses together twice.

The first time they tried to include me I politely said I do mine just once. I might be rude that I didn't do it but it's their thing I don't care for it.

A few weeks later. I'm at their house again. My drink was on the table where I was sitting, they clink their glasses and come over to me, my girlfriend just clinks my glass as I wasn't touching it. Her mother looked at me as if to pick it up and clink it. I move it a notch along the table to offer her to do it. She says "Well f**k you", not in a playful way.

I don't reply and tell my girlfriend I'm going home as I don't find that behaviour acceptable or respectful. Girlfriend wanted to talk to her mom and me stay and eat but I didn't feel comfortable.

Yea maybe I should have clinked the glasses but what she said was rude and showed a lot about her character.

My problem is, how do I solve this situation. Her moms birthday is a couple weeks and I said I didn't want to go because I was paying and I don't want to use my money on someone who treats me like that.
