So my ex and I have not really talked for the past 3 years. Randomly I get a text in the middle of the night with just my name and a question mark. In the morning she tells me she just had her contacts deleted and was guessing who it was based on text thread (bs). I played a bit of text game just to mess with her. We were talking about my coding project and she jokingly asked me to teach her.. Which I didn't respond so she responded with "jk". Then later in the convo we were talking about interstellar.. And she asked if I wanted to go with her. So we made a plan and then she flaked on that day. I gave her a hard time and stopped texting her. 2 weeks later she's trying to plan a day.

So here's the deal:

  1. She's most likely still in a relationship
  2. All I really want to do is fuck her
  3. I haven't really been in a relationship since her 4 years ago.. She's gotten satisfaction before by asking questions related to that.

So my guess is she's either testing the waters to see if she wants to jump ship with the other guy, or she just wants the satisfaction that I'm actually interested in her.. Then she rejects me and moves on.

The movie is a means to an end for me. And if we don't hook up then I'm gonna be frustrated that I'm wasting time (even though that movie is bomb).

What should I do/say? I'm tempted to just be straight up about it
