Context: Already have a GF and in an open relationship, handful of plates I rotate between. Delicate setting, small university, so I tend to keep my plates for a long time once I find they're kosher being the other women. All of them hope it will lead them to the promise land of exclusivity and replacing my current GF. All of them fail, as I told them from the beginning. Anyway..

One of my plates (been around 1 1/2 years) I acquired because she is the BFF! of one of my old plates (was with her for ~ 1 year before new plate). New plate is way hotter than old plate, old plate talked me up to the point of in group betrayal. She's hotter than old plate, cooler than old plate, old plate was too clingy, logical upgrade. After many advances, she gave in. We made a deal. I stop fucking old plate as long as she is fucking me. (This was around a year ago) Kicker: they're still best friends, old plate doesn't know and new plate gets off when we all hang out together. Sick, but that's their shit so IDGAF.

Current: New plate starts to get fresh with me, flaking and being generally arrogant. Giving ultimatums and being cocky thinking she's the 'best'. And she is tbh.. she's my favorite plate. But she forgot she was replaceable.

I tell her to quit her shit (wrong, I know) she sees the weakness and starts bailing more.

I go no contact and give her around a month to 'find herself' and come back. She didn't so my only logical choice was to return to old plate as I had promised.

Old plate had been hitting me up now and again seeing if I will go back to her for the past year and a half, much to the joy of new plate. So a text message later and I was already on my way over. Before I see her, I text new plate first giving her first dibs, out of curtesy. She says no; I go over to old plate and ruin her room and leave her in a pile of sex dust. This goes on for two weeks.

New plate and old plate are hanging out one day, old plate txt me asking to join, I text new plate and she says she wants to see me. I have some drinks with them and some of my friends, flirting and pinching new plates ass when old plate isn't looking.

We go down to the car to get smokes and she starts balling 'you promised you wouldn't fuck her, you broke your word!' I told her she broke her word first so I kept my promise.

Maintain frame, make out with her a bit, go back and join group. This was two days ago.

Old plate has been hitting me up, I ignore and new plate has been hitting me up to txt only and I banter a bit and go cold.

My TRP question: how would you guys proceed? I prefer new plate but I will not work for it, she will distance and at the end of the day she is a plate. I am only fucking old plate to teach new a lesson and to get her back in her spot on rotation.

I was thinking:

A) no contact to new plate and keep fucking old plate till new returns (or dosnt) B) keep hitting up new plate to hang before fucking old plate, she will see the pattern and fold (or not) C) ? Idk.. That's why I'm asking.
