I work with a girl at a pizza place and I am preparing to make a move on her. She seems interested - she's very handsy, always pressing her tits up against me and leans against me at work when she's tired or frustrated, and talks to me more than she talks to anyone else at work.
However, I'm concerned about balancing compliance shit tests and legitimate work requests for help. For those of you that are unfamiliar with waiting, asking someone to take food to a table for you or clear off a plate while they have something else to do is a very common occurrence and are 90% of the time legitimate requests. Yesterday, however, I think I ran into a shit test. She didn't really need me to take the food to the table for her, but she asked anyway. It gave me pause, as it was busy and I had already taken multiple plates to her tables, and I told her "This is the last one." She smiled and said "ok, ok." If that was a shit test, I just barely passed, but it brought up the bigger question about how much I should be helping her out.
She does give me rides home every time we work together even though I'm walking distance and she still has another 45 minutes to get home herself. Tonight I gave her a couple of dollars toward parking since she always gives me a ride and I told her once she moves closer (which is in a week, she will be going to college near me) she should come in and we'll watch a few episodes of Mad Men and crack open a bottle of wine. She seemed receptive to the idea.
She has a boyfriend that will move away by the end of the week and she lives far from me, so I have abstained from asking her in to my place so far because any loyalty or logistics issues that may cause her to say no can easily be remedied by a little patience. I just want to make sure that workplace courtesy doesn't translate to failed shit tests and killed attraction in the remaining week before I make my move. Any suggestions?
