I've been browsing this subreddit for the past week. I wouldn't necessarily call myself full-blown beta.
At least, not outside of relationships. I'm more of a PUA outside relationships. However, once I find someone I enjoy - Oneitis, through and through. A secret closet sap. Absolutely pitiful.
Typically what happens is I'll attract women, sometimes even from their long term relationships (Believe me I don't enjoy this any longer. I think after the last one 9 months ago, I'm done going down that dramatic crazy ass BPD-hypergamy road.) They'll playfully call me cocky or arrogant while letting me fuck their brains out 6 times a day. Then they'll beg for me to commit and take them seriously. I start to do so and a switch flips not only for me becoming a complete push-over, but how they view me and how they begin to treat me as a result.
I fucking hate it. It needs to change.
Which brings me to you guys actually. It seems I'm having issues maintaining frame, I think that's the vernacular you gentlemen use anyway. I bought No More Mr. Nice Guy as well as The Rational Male. I've been reading those this week. However, I'd like to know if you have any other suggestions for reading material? Or if you just want to knock me with a proverbial bat across the head, that'd be great too.
I have no issue purchasing any material you find relevant in my success to unplugging. It seems I've programmed myself growing up to be some romantic, chivalrous, perfect rom-com feminist dream and I get walked all over when it comes to LTRs.
TL;DR - I seduce women easily. I buckle in LTRs. I'm AFC, help me maintain frame and stop being a nancy via suggesting reading material to me.
