The first girl I fell in love with sent me a email.

I ended up calling her to see how over her I was and after four months I still have feelings for her.

  1. She claims she cries a lot about me
  2. She claims if I was in town she would dumb her bf and get back with me
  3. She claims she still loves me and always will
  4. She immediately starts telling me about her life and boyfriend.

I feel as though she's just playing on my feelings because she knows how in love with her I am.

I get the suspicion she only wants to talk to me so she can use me a self esteem booster as well as a emotional outlet for her personal problems. I don't see any other reason for her to want to talk to me.

I've decided that it is probably best if she's not in my life and proceeded to send her a final message cutting contact.

Do you think I did the right thing? Any feedback or thoughts on her intention would be appreciated.
