Don't ever take a risk like that. No one legit would decline to meet in public and decline to give you her number. She doesn't want to give you her number in case you're a psycho and won't stop texting her, but she's fine with having you into her home and knowing where she lives? Right. Like she can't block the number of some pest. Whatever address she gave you wasn't where she lived, and I doubt it was a she. Something weird was up and you were right to pass.

Definitely suspicious if she refused to give anything. I think you did the right thing. You either need her number so you can look her up, a social media account to confirm she’s not a whale or meet in public first to confirm you’re not getting catfishes. If none of the above then bail. Did she have grainy pics or seem overly attractive?

Out of hundreds of Bumble/Tinder matches I've never had anything like you describe happen. Sometimes girls will meet in public but not give out their contact info, but even that is really rare. If it seems like she has something to hide, then she probably does. My guess is that she's way less attractive than her pics, probably hoping that you'd show up horny and just throw her a bang anyway.

Eh, meeting at her place might not be bad unless you own an exceptionally rare car and plan to be over there with a ton of your wallet assets. You could easily just lock everything up in your car and stash it under the seat or something.

I think there is a risk. I would certainly meet a new person in public and look for red flags. You will never know.

I'd love to see the information from bumble or some of your chats. When you say quickly I just think she wanted to fuck and drop you if she needed to afterwards. She's got a good point with the phone number. You can take that and get the name of the person who pays the bill on that phone, with that you can get more info and it gets pretty creepy for attractive women.
