I went to a meeting today where our group leader is a female. (we meet about two times a year). She has been having this same problem for almost 2 years now.

Honestly, I still have know idea what the problem. She keeps rambling and I just nod. She spent most of her time telling us how she was struggling with the problem and looking for group consensus.

This is new to me. I grew up in a strong patriarchy environment, where males made decisions and lived with them. They never struggled with the same problem over a two year period and sought consensus. They took action.
